Role Summary:

  • We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join our established engineering design team in Cork.
  • To manage activity planning, work scheduling, assigning responsibilities to the team, and ensuring deliverables can be met.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-functional design teams on large pharma projects.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients.
  • Ensuring all project designs are compliant with latest health & safety regulations.
  • Manage the creation of accurate designs which conform to all codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Support the Engineering Department in the delivery of designs.
  • Oversee all phases of projects, from Engineering to the Procurement and Construction.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders in project implementation to achieve project and company goals.
  • Prepare and present project reports.
  • Develop & maintain project budgets and timeline.
  • Establish project resource requirements and lead \ motivate the project team.
  • Update and maintain project specifications and drawings.
  • Ensure adherence to the company Safety Management System and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Provides project status updates / reports
  • To provide technical expertise to all Engineering activity.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Chemical/Process/Mechanical/Automation or other relevant discipline).
  • Minimum 10 plus years project management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget Management: Controlling costs and ensuring the project stays within the budget.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications, Revit & AutoCAD is preferable.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to commit to and work to deadlines.
  • Safety Pass Training/ other relevant safety training is desirable but not essential.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is essential.
